John,Bill,Robin,Steve & Leesa: My deepest/sincere sympathy to you all and your families. What a nice service your mom shared with those present. Even though I've known your mom for 3 years, whenever we were together, she always made me feel like a part of your family which I'll always treasure those memories. I hope you 'kids' will always continue to to be close, be there for each other/treasure the memories of both your parents. I'm sad too for your loss but your parents are together once again and watching over their family daily.

I am sorry to learn of the loss of Dorothy. It will be so wonderful when our 'enemy death is brought to nothing'. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Acts 24:15 gives us the hope that Dorothy has the hope of a resurrection. I hope that the 'God of all comfort' will help you all during this time of need. (2 Corinthiasn 1:3,4)

I remember Dorothy from my days at Sumner Jr. High hallways. She was always so sharply dressed, never a hair out of place and always a smile on her face. She was also the neighbor of my aunt and uncle, Barb and Charlie Ackerson, so I would often see her outdoors tending to the yard and such. Dorothy made a huge difference to many in the hallways at the Jr. High and will be always thought of very fondly.

I remember Dorothy fondly whenever I needed something form the office at Sumner Junior High School. She always had a smile. I can still hear her saying "No running in the halls."
