Dear John and Family, Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you. We miss having you both at church here in Cedar Falls, but know that for that moment in your lives you were where you needed to be. I always marveled at Carol's strength and hope even during her trial. I hope to see you on Tuesday. May God bless and strengthen you. Dawn

Dear John & family, Dick and I were saddened to read of Carol's passing this morning in the Courier. She will be greatly missed - what a fighter she was!!!!...We miss you as neighbors and if you're in the area, be sure and stop and say "Hi". We won't be able to attend her service but will be there in spirit........Know that we are thinking about you and yours and will be saying prayers for you. Emma Johnson said to send her condolences too, as she didn't have your address, so am passing that on. Janene & Dick

Dear John and Family, There is no doubt Carol is walking with Jesus in heaven and I'm sure my parents; Walter Rogers & Bob & Lauretta Cluts were part of the family that were there to greet her when she passed from this earth to her heavenly home. I treasure Carol as a Sister in the Lord, a friend, and an encourager! My heart smiles thinking of her and all the love she poured out to people. She blessed me with every hug I got and every letter I received. She's the healed and whole now! And that makes me smile knowing she's okay...she's with our Lord! May Father God hold you tight as you grieve her absence - I Thess. 4:13-18 is the Word of God and promise I seek for comfort missing my loved ones. I hope it ministers to you all. With hugs and prayers of love always, Pam
