Orson was a great friend. I knew him when he lived at Lebanon. Then he moved to Iowa and I moved to Wyoming and I lost track of him. I will never forget him, though. I have so many fond memories.

I loved Orson like a grandfather. And he nicknamed me "Liz" and my sister Bernice "Babe". I still don't know why.... He was an awesome person and I will miss him dearly as I miss Betty. He was good friends with my grandmother Cora and with my parents Robbie and A.J. I remember fishing trips with him and going out to eat. Orson and Betty always treated me like their granddaughter. You all have my deepest sympathy. Many thoughts and prayers for all of you in your time of need.

To All of the Kauffmans, My deepest sympathies to you all. Although I had not seen Orson for many years I remember the back and forth when all of us children were in school and visiting your family after you had moved to Lebanon. Your father reached out to our family last year when Lynn had her accident and that meant a lot. May the many memories of your father comfort you at this time.

Marlene and family, I want to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. I remember your dad as a little kid and he always liked to pick on us when he came to our farm.

You do not know me from a bale of hay but as a small child I lived with my parents on a farm 5 miles west of Arlington and Orson and Betty lived in the first mile north of us on the last farm on the left . My parents visited back and forth with Orson and Betty as people did in those good ole days.

My parents have been deceased since 1997 and 2001. I feel your pain and wish to express my deepest sympathy.
