Don Sr. will be sincerely missed. He was a gentle man who never complained. When he was in the hospital, hardly able to breath, the nurses would ask "how are you doing?" and he would respond, "OK" or "about the same."

Don taught us the importance of spirituality. He showed great courage on his journey to the other side. He was a man of few words, but was always gracious, courteous, and kind in his actions. He was a strong, caring father to all of his children.

Mr. Don, you will be forever in my heart! ~Karen (Sieck) McCort

My Dad is a cool guy. I have gotten to know and understand how much love he had for his family and friends, especially during the last 2 years. Dad died a peaceful death. Dad had an amazing faith, and with that, he bravely drifted off to sleep, knowing he was about to be welcomed to a better place. Dad was looking forward the reunion of his lifetime with his Lord Jesus Christ. He is joyfully joining Mom (Bethel), his parents (Herman and Isabel), his special grandson Dylan and many other loved ones who have gone before him. While I will truely cry myself to sleep nightly as the lonliness for Dad overwhelms me, I realize that Dad deserves to be held high as he is welcomed into his new heavenly home. It is a priviledge and honor to be a daughter to Donald Ray Sieck, Sr. -Kathleen Marie Sieck Traeger
